For the Coating
  • 1 can Olive Oil Cooking Spray Substitute with neutral oil spray if desired
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayo (or Light Mayo) Yogurt can be used for lighter version
  • 1/4 cup Sweet Thai Chili Sauce Adds sweetness and tang
  • to taste Sriracha Adjust amount for desired heat

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by patting the peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour or cornstarch with salt and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg.
  4. Dip each shrimp into the egg mixture, then transfer to the flour mixture and toss to coat.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C). Spray the basket with cooking spray.
  6. Arrange the breaded shrimp in a single layer in the basket and lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes until golden and opaque, flipping halfway through.
  8. In a medium bowl, combine mayo, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha; whisk until smooth.
  9. Once shrimp are cooked, toss them with the bang bang sauce in a large mixing bowl.
  10. Garnish with fresh greens or sesame seeds before serving.
