- Begin by peeling the ripe dragonfruit, revealing its vibrant pink flesh. Cut the flesh into small pieces, ensuring they are bite-sized for blending. Gather your blender and add the chopped dragonfruit.
- Pour in about 2 cups of cold water over the dragonfruit pieces in the blender. Blend on high speed for approximately 30 seconds until smooth and creamy. Optionally strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl.
- In a large pitcher, squeeze the juice from 6 to 8 fresh lemons into the bowl. Remove any seeds as you mix. Add ½ to 1 cup of sugar or honey and stir vigorously for about 1 minute until fully dissolved.
- Slowly pour the blended dragonfruit puree into the pitcher with the lemonade mixture. Gently stir until well combined.
