  • 1 block High-Protein Tofu Use firm or extra-firm for best texture
  • 1 cup Vegetable Broth Any vegetable stock works
  • 2 tablespoons Bragg’s Liquid Aminos Substitute with tamari for gluten-free
For the Flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke Omit for milder flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika works too
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Adjust if using fresh garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Adjust based on spice preference
For Cooking
  • 1 tablespoon Light Olive Oil Can be omitted for oil-free version

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Drain and press your tofu to remove excess moisture, then slice into thin pieces (about 1/8 inch thick).
  3. Whisk together vegetable broth, Bragg's Liquid Aminos, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  4. Immerse the tofu slices in the marinade and let marinate for at least 10 minutes (up to 2 days for best flavor).
  5. Arrange tofu slices on the baking sheet, drizzling leftover marinade on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
