Preparation Steps
- Make the Simple Syrup by combining ¾ cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water in a medium saucepan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Infuse the Flavors by adding ¼ cup of dried hibiscus flowers and ¾ cup of wild blueberries, boiling for 2-3 minutes and then simmering for another 3-4 minutes.
- Strain the Mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a measuring cup or pitcher to separate the syrup from solids.
- Combine the cooled syrup with 4 cups of filtered water and 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, stirring well.
- Chill the Lemonade by covering the pitcher and refrigerating for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve with Ice by filling glasses with ice and pouring the chilled lemonade over it.
