Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Italian Spaghetti Salad
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the thin spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside to cool.
  2. While the spaghetti cools, wash and dice the vegetables. Place the prepared vegetables into a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, prepare your Italian dressing. If homemade, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, Italian herbs, and seasonings.
  4. Add the cooled spaghetti to the bowl with the vegetables. Pour the Italian dressing over and gently toss everything together.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  6. After chill time, give the salad a gentle toss before serving. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy.
