  • 2 cups Cabbage Napa cabbage or bok choy recommended
  • 1 cup Carrots can substitute with bell peppers or zucchini
  • 1/2 cup Green Onions for freshness
  • 1 cup Onions can use shallots or leeks
For the Dumplings
  • 1 package Wonton Wrappers thin wrappers preferred
For Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce for flavor enhancement
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • to taste Pepper adjust according to preference

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Fried Korean Dumplings
  1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Stir in cabbage, carrots, green onions, and onions. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
  2. Transfer the sautéed mixture to a mixing bowl. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and pepper, stirring well to combine.
  3. Lay out wonton wrappers. Place a teaspoon of filling in each wrapper's center. Moisten one edge with water, fold and seal tightly.
  4. In a frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add dumplings in a single layer and fry for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer finished dumplings onto paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
