Step-by-Step Instructions for Peach Iced Tea
  1. In a small pot, combine 2 cups of frozen peaches, 1 cup of water, and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Bring to simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. After cooling, strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve to separate the syrup from solids.
  3. Boil 2 cups of water, remove from heat, and steep the 4 black tea bags for 5 minutes.
  4. Combine brewed tea, 2 cups of cold water, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, the juice of 1 lemon, and the syrup in a large pitcher.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving over ice with garnishes.
