Cooking Steps
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Stir in one finely chopped onion, one diced bell pepper, and two minced garlic cloves. Sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until softened.
- Add 1 cup of white rice, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Stir for about a minute.
- Carefully add 2 cups of chicken broth and stir gently. Increase heat to bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
