Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by boiling 1 cup of water in a small pot. Once it reaches a rolling boil, remove it from the heat, add your selected black or green tea bags along with the fresh lemon zest. Let the mixture steep for 2–3 minutes.
- While the tea is steeping, wash your blueberries thoroughly and place them in a bowl. Once the tea is ready, remove the tea bags and pour the brewed tea over the blueberries. Use a fork to gently mash the blueberries, releasing their vibrant juices.
- Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the blueberry tea mixture into a pitcher, ensuring to extract all the juice while leaving behind any solid remnants. Stir in honey or sugar to taste, adjusting the sweetness to your preference, then add the remaining 1 cup of cold water.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes or serve immediately over ice cubes.
- To serve, fill glasses with the chilled Blueberry Iced Tea Lemonade, and garnish with fresh mint leaves, lemon slices, and extra blueberries.

Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For a stronger blueberry flavor, let the mashing mixture sit longer before straining.
