Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Peach Tea
- Combine 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, and 2 sliced peaches in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir and mash peaches to release juices for about 5 minutes until boiling, then reduce heat to low.
- Simmer the peach syrup on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until flavors are infused and syrup thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Strain peach mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a glass jar or bowl, discarding solids.
- In a large pitcher, pour in 6 cups of filtered water and add 3 black tea bags. Boil and steep for about 5 minutes. Remove tea bags.
- Let tea cool at room temperature for 1-2 hours, then refrigerate until cold.
- Combine chilled tea with cooled peach syrup in pitcher and stir well. Serve over ice.

Notes
Use ripe peaches for maximum sweetness and start with less sugar; you can always add more later. Prepare syrup in advance and store in the fridge for a week. Experiment with other fruits for variations.
