Ingredients
  

For the Fish
  • 1 lb Cod or Tilapia Can be substituted with haddock

For the Tacos
  • 4 large Soft Taco-Sized Flour Tortillas Corn tortillas for gluten-free option

For the Slaw

For the Avocado Lime Crema
  • 2 medium Avocados Substitute with sour cream for a different texture
  • 2 tbsp Limes (for crema) Always go for fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt or Cottage Cheese Feel free to use sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Water To adjust the crema's thickness if necessary
For Garnish
  • 1 cup Radish Thinly sliced
  • 2 whole Lime Wedges

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and finely chop the purple cabbage into thin strips. In a large bowl, combine it with olive oil, lime juice, cilantro, honey, salt, and pepper. Toss until well-coated and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a blender, combine avocados, lime juice, garlic, and Greek yogurt. Blend until smooth and adjust consistency with water if needed. Set aside to let flavors meld.
  3. Pat dry the cod or tilapia fillets. Season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, ground black pepper, and salt.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the fish undisturbed for about 3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  5. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
  6. Spread a layer of avocado lime crema over each tortilla. Top with cabbage slaw, flaky fish, and garnish with radishes and lime wedges.
