Preparation Steps
- Spray the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray and set it to low.
- Place half of the frozen pierogi at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Distribute half of the sliced kielbasa and half of the chopped onion on top.
- In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and melted butter; whisk until smooth.
- Pour half of the creamy sauce over the first layer.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Uncover and serve warm, garnished with chopped chives.
