  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch for coating
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil for frying

  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger minced
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes adjust to taste
To Season and Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the large shrimp dry and season lightly with salt. Coat each shrimp in cornstarch, shaking off excess.
  2. Heat ½ inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes, stirring to combine.
  4. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Transfer shrimp to a serving platter, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with steamed rice.
