Ingredients
  

For the Sticks
  • 1 block Very Firm Tofu
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour gluten-free flour can be used
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond/Soy Milk any plant-based milk of your choice
  • 2 tbsp Water for batter consistency
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder substitute with fresh garlic for extra kick
  • 1 tsp Paprika Powder smoked paprika deepens flavor
  • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs do not use regular breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce can swap for BBQ sauce for milder flavor
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for brushing
For the Vegan Ranch Dip
  • 1/2 cup Vegan Mayonnaise store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tbsp Dried/Fresh Dill & Parsley using fresh herbs enhances flavor
  • to taste Black Pepper adjust based on preference

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Prep Tofu: Drain and pat dry the very firm tofu, slice into ½-inch sticks.
  2. Make Batter: Combine flour, almond/soy milk, water, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl; whisk until smooth.
  3. Coat Tofu: Dip tofu sticks into the batter, then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Bake First Time: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), arrange tofu sticks on a lined baking sheet, bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Add Sauce: Mix Frank’s Red Hot sauce and olive oil, brush over baked tofu sticks.
  6. Bake Again: Return tofu sticks to oven for an additional 20 minutes.
  7. Prepare Dip: Mix vegan mayonnaise with dill, parsley, and black pepper.
  8. Serve: Garnish with green onions or parsley, serve with ranch dip.
