Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ½ medium chopped onion and 3 minced garlic cloves, stirring frequently for about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking the beef into small pieces, until it is browned.
  3. Stir in 8 ounces of medium pasta shells and pour in enough water to cover the pasta. Bring to a boil and cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low and stir in 1 cup of creamy tomato sauce and 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, mixing well and heating through for about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and serve hot with optional toppings like fresh herbs or grated cheese.
