  • 2 cups Cooked White Rice Leftover rice works perfectly.
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup Can be swapped for cream of chicken.
  • 1 cup Milk or Beef Broth Use what you have on hand.
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Freshly grated sharp cheddar melts beautifully.
  • 1 tsp Paprika Smoked paprika enhances flavor.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • optional Parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and diced onion. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until browned, drain excess fat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk or beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. In the baking dish, combine cooked rice, beef and onion mixture, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix well.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly across the baking dish and top with remaining shredded cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let sit for a few minutes, serve hot, garnishing with parsley if desired.
