Ingredients

For the Filling
  • 6 pieces Jalapeño Peppers Choose fresh, firm ones for the best heat and flavor.
  • 1 lb Chorizo Look for high-quality for a richer taste.
  • 8 oz Real California Milk Queso Asadero Essential for that creamy texture; ensure it’s melty.
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt Enhances all the flavors.
For the Cooking
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Use just a bit since chorizo releases its own fat.
For Serving
  • 6 pieces Corn Tortillas Adds texture and completes the dish.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro For garnish.

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Skillet
  • Baking Sheet
  • parchment paper
