  3. Mix in egg, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Gradually add flour, mixing on low until the dough forms a soft ball, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Press half of the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  6. Combine brown sugar, ground cinnamon, flour, and melted butter in a bowl to create the filling.
  7. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the dough base.
  8. Crumble the remaining dough over the filling, ensuring it's evenly distributed.
  9. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and edges are set.
  10. Let the bars cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Whisk the glaze ingredients together until smooth and drizzle over cooled bars.
