Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cut the challah or brioche into bite-sized cubes and spread them evenly in the greased baking dish. Sprinkle fresh blueberries over the top.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the custard mixture over the bread and blueberries, pressing down to soak. Let it rest for 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
