Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry until 1/4 inch thick and cut into rectangles.
- Grease the baking dish or ramekins with butter or cooking spray.
- Arrange the puff pastry in the greased baking dish, shaping to fit snugly.
- Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, thyme, and chives until well combined.
- Gently fold in the shredded cheese, reserving some for topping.
- Pour the egg mixture into the prepared pastry shells, just beneath the rim.
- Sprinkle the reserved cheese over the top of each filled pastry.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
